I have been obsessed with fly fishing since I was six years old, cutting my teeth on small streams high in the Jemez Mountains. I received my first fly tying set when I was ten and have been using my own patterns for two decades. When I was twelve my father started bringing me to the San Juan and and I never looked back. I have been guiding professionally since 2010 and have guided rivers all over Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado including the Rio Grande, Chama, Conejos, Red River, and the San Juan. In addition, I have had the good fortune to fish waters all throughout the United States, as well as Argentina and Cuba. Needless to say, I am deeply dedicated to the sport and my passion continues to grow.

My love for the sport started early. At age twelve, I started accompanying my father to both the tailwaters of middle Tennessee as well as the small mountains streams of the Appalachians. This passion continued into adulthood eventually leading me to pursue it professionally in 2015 when I moved from Tennessee to Taos, NM to join the guide staff at the Taos Fly Shop. It was here I met Ron, and our connection was immediate. We married and guided together for 8 years before moving West to Aztec to start our own guide service in 2022. In 2024 I started another business with my best friend Liz, where we focus on fly-fishing and relationships through couples weekend retreats. You can find out more about these retreats here.
